by the end of this episode you’ll know:

  • How Self-improvement creators lied to you

  • why watching self-improvement content doesn’t benefit you and is instead bad for you

Introduction

I am literally shooting myself in the foot with this to help y’all.

Self-improvement creators are lying to you.

They are not the reason you wake up in the morning & hustle.

They are the reason you aren’t successful yet. (Whatever you may define as your own success)

Lesson
Todays most expensive currency

Ever heard of “Self-improvement masturbation“?

That content, creators produce is not made to help you. It is made to capture you & your emotions.
People don’t want to hear facts to feel good. They want to see stuff they can relate to, to feel good.

As harmless as this sounds, it is not.
You are literally as emotionally dependent on social media as a teeny girl is on her toxic boyfriend.

Self-improvement content releases dopamine.
(Dopamine hormone release = Joy)

Dopamine release is intended to happen, when achieving goals, including completing a workout, getting chores done, gaining money, overcoming fears & also unusual things you wouldn’t expect to part of this
like consuming sugar, pxrn, entertainment & eating unhealthy food.

Reason, all these different things simulate the same success, is because in order to eat well, you needed to hunt well &
in order to make babies, you needed to be able to provide.

Now if self-improvement content gives you the feeling of success every time you watch it, why should you work hard anymore?
Why should you hustle?
Why should you try out risky opportunities?
You already achieved a lot today didn’t you?
At least this is what your mind thinks, every time you watch
self-improvement content.

Now everything these self-improvement creators are doing for you, is simulating success by giving you this kind of content to watch, that you relate to and what they get return is the most expensive currency of todays age: REACH

You aren’t their “fam“ “Gymbros“ or “Community“. You are their reach.
You are their product.

I know, that there Is educational content out there. However, you forget most of it within minutes and capture a maximum of 10%.

No you will not come back to it to use it later by saving the post.

The next time you are spending hours, watching self-improvement content to “educate“ yourself. remember me.

Cheers.
